Spring Youth Basketball Rec League Registration Open

Players will be assigned by grade level to attend one 90-minute session. They only need to attend one of these Evaluation Sessions, not all of them.
Players will be evaluated and placed on teams for the season based on grade and skill rating.
Days/times of each evaluation session (based on gender & grade) will be provided via email

The 2024 Kindergarten-8th Spring Rec League will run April 9th- June 7th, 2024
Registration will run February 1st- February 31st
Cost: $176 per player
Locations: Swift Sportsdome -South Meadows
Practices/games will occur: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday evenings between 4:30-9:00pm, and Saturdays – times are flexible to accommodate coaches’ requests
Teams will on average practice/play 2-3 times per week

Teams will practice/play on average 2-3 times per week
Days and times of team practices/games will vary week-by-week to allow for differing family schedules
Possible days and time frames: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday evenings, no earlier than 4:45 pm
Saturday- Times are flexible to accommodate
Each practice session will be approximately 60 minutes
Families will be notified via email if changes are made to the schedule at any point during the season.

The regular season will culminate with a bracketed single-elimination playoff tournament for each division, with bracket seeding based on regular-season standings.
An email will be sent out when playoff brackets/schedule is available.
Final playoff seedings will be updated upon the conclusion of the regular season for each division.

All interested coaches and assistant coaches MUST complete the Coaches Application and email to ksadanaga@sierranevadabasketball.com.
1 selected head coach per team will have their full registration fee reimbursed

To be in compliance with state requirements, we must have all head coaches complete a short, free concussion course online. ACCESS HERE

All head coaches should complete an online Fundamentals of Coaching course provided by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) prior to receiving their coach’s reimbursement.
Head coaches will be emailed a link to the course, once it has been purchased for them.
